In the Utopia lounge, we showcased the Rhea active stereo speakers paired with the Eidos Streamer. For the demonstrations, we opted for a wired configuration using digital SPDIF cables to ensure optimal network stability amidst the heavy wireless traffic typical of such a busy event. While the Rhea speakers are fully capable of operating wirelessly with the Eidos Streamer, this setup allowed us to guarantee a seamless and uninterrupted listening experience and utmost resolution.
Music demonstrations featured the Rhythm Distribution curated playlist, streamed from Qobuz via the Roon app, which integrates smoothly with the Eidos Streamer to deliver high-resolution audio. Despite the room’s less-than-ideal acoustics, attendees were deeply impressed by the naturalness, clarity, and power of the Rhea speakers’ performance, highlighting Goldmund’s renowned expertise in digital processing and powered speaker design.
A pair of black Pulp WiSA/bluetooth speakers was on static display in the Utopia lounge. As the most compact model in Goldmund’s speaker lineup, Pulp embodies the full range of our proprietary technologies, including Class A/B amplification and advanced digital signal processing. The Pulp perfectly illustrates how Goldmund’s DNA can be distilled into a minimalist form without compromising on performance.
In Room 1230, Goldmund presented a sophisticated analog system designed for the most discerning audiophiles. The system featured:
