21:30 – Late Night Concert “Folk”
A late night concert with all participants of the Goldmund Festival: Goldmund Quartet, Elaia Quartet, Martynas Levickis (accordion) and Nino Gvetadze (piano). This concert brings together folk sounds from different eras. At Late Night Folk, musicians from Lithuania, Georgia and Bavaria bring traditional melodies and arrangements from their home countries to the ears, complemented by classical works with folkloric influences. At the end, all participants come together to make music together, during which Bavarian folk music, arranged by the Goldmund Quartet, is heard in a special interpretation.

About Goldmund Quartet
Praised for their exquisite playing and multi-layered homogeneity, the Goldmund Quartet captivates audiences with deeply nuanced interpretations of both classical and contemporary repertoire.
Winners of the 2018 International Wigmore Hall String Competition and the 2018 Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, the quartet was named Rising Stars by the European Concert Hall Organisation (2019/20).
Since 2019 they have been performing on Antonio Stradivari’s Paganini Quartet, provided by the Nippon Music Foundation.
A Circle of Kindred Spirits
An internationally acclaimed string quartet, Goldmund Quartet performs at major concert halls and festivals across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. They have collaborated with renowned artists such as Ray Chen, Camille Thomas, Fazıl Say, Jörg Widmann, Sabine Meyer, and Ksenija Sidorova.
Their discography includes the critically acclaimed albums Travel Diaries (2020) and Prisma (2023), featuring works by Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Uno Helmersson, Pascal Schumacher, and Sophia Jani.
