Available both online and offline, the new Goldmund configurator is a powerful tool designed to enhance user interaction with the processor. Users can access this software via a laptop, mobile device, or desktop, and apply configurations for room correction, i.e., audio signal mixing, gain, delay and filtering.
The configurator also allows for software updates, device resets, and maintenance of configuration parameters. Goldmund and its official partners can remotely update these configuration files, enabling users to download and apply them onto their digital acoustic processor. All possible wiring configurations—whether in stereo or multichannel—are also accessible through the configurator.

Reengineered Electronic Core
Every electronic component of the Ouranos Excellence has been redesigned from the ground up. This includes a new electronics base and multiple specialized modules, ensuring superior performance and reliability. The main board is equipped with precise clock generation and synchronization, minimizing jitter, and ensuring that all audio signals are perfectly synced across the 16 audio channels. This precision results in a seamless and immersive audio experience.

The processor features the market’s most advanced DSP module operating at 96 kHz 24 bit with extensive external DDR RAM. Our custom-designed PCB supports high-speed signal routing, setting a new standard in audio performance.
Featuring the latest advancements in Goldmund’s exclusive Proteus HT technology, all multichannel configurations are generated through this proprietary algorithm and uploaded to the processor’s DSP. When paired with Goldmund active speakers, Leonardo time-correction technology is embedded directly within each speaker’s DSP. In passive speaker configurations, the Leonardo processing is instead uploaded into the processor’s DSP.
