DESIGN VISION
The Telos 9800 represents a singular expression of Goldmund’s approach to design.
Its architecture is defined by two distinct yet interconnected volumes, separating the power supply from the amplification stage while creating a striking visual presence. This dual-chassis construction transforms a technical requirement into a sculptural form, where engineering and aesthetics are seamlessly integrated.
Every proportion, surface, and detail has been carefully considered to create a sense of harmony, precision, and permanence. A redesigned digital display integrates seamlessly into the purity of the overall design, reinforcing the product’s clean and understated aesthetic.
At the junction between the two enclosures, a single gold plate provides a discreet visual signature. It is not intended to draw attention, but to reward it. Like the finest nuances within a musical performance, it reveals itself gradually to those who choose to look more closely.
THE CULMINATION OF A JOURNEY
Building upon the foundations of the Telos 8800, the Telos 9800 introduces a completely redesigned platform.
For the first time, the power supply and amplification stages are housed in separate enclosures, allowing each function to operate under optimal conditions.
A completely redesigned power stage combines next-generation MOSFET output devices with more powerful transformers, increased energy reserves, and a newly developed SoftStart circuit. Together, these developments provide greater stability, faster transient response, and enhanced loudspeaker control, creating the conditions for a more natural and faithful musical reproduction.
Developed in collaboration with designer Cécile Barani, the Telos 9800 also introduces a new mechanical architecture and refined aesthetic language. Delivering 1,560 Wrms into 8 ohms, it represents the most advanced expression of Goldmund amplification research to date.

The Telos 9800 has been designed to provide a simple and intuitive user experience. Glass mirror and aluminium bottoms, each material contributes to the design and sonic perfection of the creation. Each control has been designed for intuitive operation while preserving the Telos 9800’s minimalist design language.

Reflecting the high level of its technology and design, Goldmund uses gold-plated copper terminals and screws, in order to improve and guarantee optimum signal transmission and to minimise potential signal losses. A sharp and narrow amplifier for better conductivity.
Seamless Aluminum Chassis: Precision-crafted from micro-blasted aluminum, the Telos 9800 features a sleek, joint-free design with minimal screws, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic perfection. Available in both grey and black finishes.
Superior Electromagnetic Shielding: The robust aluminum construction effectively blocks EMI, preserving signal purity.
Optimized Heat Dissipation: The 15mm-thick aluminum panels and 40mm-thick radiator chassis function as an integrated passive heat sink, effectively dissipating heat and maintaining optimal thermal performance.
