Like the other Goldmund acoustic processors, it allows each speaker’s driver to be separately adjusted in frequency response, phase response and time response and to introduce the Leonardo correction© to compensate for any built-in crossover. Because each channel can be filtered separately, the Mimesis 15 can take the place of a conventional analog speaker crossover; but its digital processing ensures a more precise and transparent sound quality than any analog crossover can achieve. With the acoustic corrections brought by our Proteus software, its room correction capability ensures each system is fully adapted to the room and environment in which it is used. Last but not least, its processing functionalities allow the reproduction of an exceptional surround image in multi-channel configurations.
