This Metis 10 processor proposes 16 channels instead of the usual 5.1. It also contains 10MHz bandwidth electronics, providing a level of room correction similar to that of professional studio equipment. Designed to be extremely user-friendly, it includes features such as the automatic switching between 2-channel and multi-channel by the simple recognition of the source format. It can be used both with analog and digital sources (3 Analog RCA Inputs, 4 Digital RCA SPDIF Inputs, 2 Digital Optical Toslink Inputs, 1 USB Input). Its processing is based on the technology developed for the Mimesis 32 used in the Goldmund Media Room. This gives the Metis 10 the possibility to use numerous filter configurations adapted to the set up of each room as well as the capability to extremely precisely calculate the surround signals in a multi-channel system. In other terms, a better sound quality and a perfect panning.
