The Eidos 18CD, our newest addition to the Goldmund High-End line, is an audio only player especially well adapted for the low rotational speeds of the CD. Of course, we gave it the possibility of reading both stereo and multi-channel SACD at our highest standards.
Its “Mechanical Grounding” construction, its rigidity and weight, as well as the inclusion of the Goldmund “Magnetic Damper” borrowed from our top of the line models take its reading precision to an new level.
It's built-in 2-ch and 6-ch D/A converters may be used for practicality, but the Eidos 18CDs top performance is achieved when playing CD’s through the digital Audio Output, available both on SPDIF and Toslink.
